We created the spare wheel guard to tackle the rising issue of spare wheel theft from commercial vehicles. Thieves find it easy to steal wheels attached beneath the vehicle using a Bowden cable.
By cutting through the cable, they can take the wheel. With our spare wheel guard in place, the tyre can only be released from inside the vehicle's cargo area, solving the problem.
